It is a turn based strategy war game. Heroes running around the map with creatures in their armies, battling other creature and hero armies, gaining experience and learning new skills, collecting resources and artifacts, capturing mines and castles and building improvements to existing castles in order to produce and hire more powerful creatures. Usually the aim is to rule the world by defeating all other heroes and capturing all of their castles. A player can have multiple heroes either running or sailing around the map or garrisoned in a castle.
Game allow to use iTunes file sharing:
to import custom maps
to import/export game saves
To get more maps search online "heroes 2 maps", download most liked maps and import them through iTunes.

I tripped across this while I was on vacation and I am glad I did. I played it every day for a week. it plays great, reasonably smooth, there are some changes to the spells that make sense and there are a few features that are missing but for the most part it is terrific. I need more maps!!!!!!

Love the game on computer, so I decided to try this out. Its a good game, but needs to be expanded, more maps and what not. Also interface controls need to be looked into, the pointer doesnt line up with where I tap the screen. I havnt explored this game too much because I am waiting for this big update coming but it is a must for a heroes 2 fan
I love the game but it really needs some updates and I dont like the fact it wont do the download it talks me to check my internet connection
Some bad moments
Cannot download resource files. It writes to have an Internet connection, but I have it.
I was really hoping this would work. I had a version of Heroes 2 on my phone before that was loads of fun. Then it disappeared. Was hoping this would replace it. Guess Ill keep playing Palm Kingdoms.
This game is currently unplayable with horrid touch screen controls that do not work. Also no sound. Its too bad because I loved this classic on PC. Horrible port effort !
I stongly suggest not to get this app unless developer gives an update soon. The cursor is offset by at least 50 pix which makes the gameplay unbearable. Returning to home screen shuts down the app and saving is impossible. Sad, I really loved the PC game.
I cant even get the game to work. It tells me to download some sort of file and then says to "check internet connection"
My internet is fine, this app is just garbage. Where is the big update youve been going on about?

I bought the game excited to play. As soon as I open the game it asks you to download some files (which dont exist anymore). I tried, says that I need to check my internet connection and doesnt do anything else. My internet is fine, they probably just dont have rights to the maps and those files have been taken from them by the original creators.
